Job Description
PCI is seeking an energetic, dependable, and motivated BIM Detailer for its Las Vegas Interior operations based in Las Vegas, NV. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Actively participate in BIM coordination and design meetings
Create and maintain project-specific content to ensure they are consistently aligned with instructions, guidelines, in-house standards, and the project’s BIM standards
Actively monitor and streamline Revit models from projects and coordinate change management process to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aware of changes and impacts
Actively engage with design and operation team to implement best BIM/VDC practices
Develop and model scopes as requested, including interior and exterior walls, ceiling and soffit framing, acoustical ceilings, specialty panels, raised access flooring, cleanroom walls and ceilings, Unistrut framing, No Fly Zones, etc. using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate with BIM/VDC service providers and clients
Clean, prepare, and organize CAD files for field use
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
At least 1-2 yearsprofessional work experience primarily using Revit
At least 1-2 years of BIM/VDC modeling and coordination experience
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess advanced proficiency with software platforms including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 Design
Must be able to present a portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor
Working knowledge of Dynamo, Revit API, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, and iConstruct
General knowledge of integrated architectural, and engineering practices
Superb project management skills
Ability to understand design drawings, specifications, and document coordination
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment as well as durations of independent/isolated/unsupervised environments
Ability to multitask under pressure and handle last-minute requests
Must be flexible and willing to visit project site and area of importance as required
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with non-structural metal framing, drywall, façade systems, ceiling systems preferred
Experience with Strucsoft's MWF plugin for Revit is preferred
